Springtime Nursery Order Desk Hours
From March 01, through June 30th, our order desk is open Monday through Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. mountain standard time. If ordering at the beginning (March) or toward the end of the season (September) please call for plant availability.
If you wish to visit our farm we are open May 1st through July 1st, Thursday’s and Saturday’s byappointment only. We are closed to the public Sunday through Wednesday and Friday’s as we are processing and shipping orders. If you have any questions or wish to make an appointment please call us at 1-719-267-4166.
We accept Pay-Pal, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. We will accept money orders and checks. Checks must clear the bank prior to your order being sent, this may take up to 10 working days.
From September through February please leave your name and number and we will return your call as soon as possible.
Depending on plant availability and weather conditions we may ship plants up to September please call for availability during this time.

Shipping: All orders must be paid in advance.
We have a minimum shipping charge of $9.50
We ship via Priority Mail.
Priority mail: normally takes 3-5 days to arrive at its destination. However the Post Office does not guarantee any specific arrival time. It has been our experience that the boxes arrive on a average of 3
to 5 days. We insure all boxes shipped by Priority mail, although none of the carriers insure plants we have found that by insuring the boxes they are given better care in shipping. However there is no guarantee if the plants die, they will refund the insured amount if the box is lost for over 21 days. Orders amounting to over $200.00
will require a signature. If your order is over $200.00 and you are not able to sign for the box, please let us know when you place your order. Be aware that postal policy is that postal carriers do not leave priority boxes unless they will fit into a mail box please let your postal carrier know he can leave the box in a designated area if you are not there to receive the box; we are not responsible for doing this. If your mail is left
in a large metal mailbox, please be aware this could over heat the plants, and try to watch for the box so it won’t have to sit in a hot mailbox all day. We will email you to let you know the day the box will be shipped out. If there is a problem with the ship date please let us know right away.
Express Mail: If you wish to receive your plants within 2 days of when they are shipped Express mail does guarantee arrival within 2 days. Express mail is more expensive and you will have to call for a price quote. Express mail has automatic insurance on
it and they will reimburse shipping if it doesn’t arrive within 2 days, however plants are not reimbursed unless the box is missing for 21 days, signature is required for Express mail.
Attention, It is important for customers in areas such as Arizona and other regions of the U.S. that experience much warmer temperatures during the summer months, to know when shipping during the hottest time of the year Express mail is the best, that way your plants won’t go through as much
stress from the heat. If you prefer to have your plants shipped United Parcel Post there will be an additional shipping charge of $9.00. You will have to call for shipping charges if you want this carrier.
Processing your order Please be aware that all shipping is done at the customers’ expense. During the busiest time of the season, your order could take up to 2 weeks from the time you place the order, to the time that the order is processed and
shipped. However we usually ship the following shipping day which during the busiest part of the season we ship Monday, Tuesday’s, Wednesday’s and Friday’s for customers in Colorado and states surrounding Colorado, we will usually ship Monday through Friday, depending on the work load. Depending on the weather and plant availability, which plants you ordered there could be different shipping dates for plants ordered. This will result
in a split shipment and additional shipping charges. We do our best to contact you if this is going to happen. Be sure to read the plant availability chart on page 5. When you place your order you get a confirmation of order received and then when we receive your e-mail order we determine your shipping date, then we will email you the date we will be shipping your order. Please be aware of this and look for the return email from us
letting you know what the exact date of shipment will be.
We will not substitute any plants, unless you have authorized substitutions when you place your order. If you are planning on paying by check or money order, please call us to get the exact shipping charges and plant availability, this will assure that your order will not be delayed due to incorrect amounts of check or money order.
